Accessibility

The Spotlight Bar and Restaurant is easily accessible for visitors with mobility difficulties and accessibility needs.

Spotlight Bar & Restaurant is situated on the fourth floor of the Motorpoint Arena Nottingham. The arena is fully accessible with flat access and automated doors in most areas. There are also two lifts that operate to all floors. The lifts are wide enough to accommodate a standard wheelchair.

Drop Off Points and Entrances

There is a taxi rank located on Lower Parliament Street which allows taxis to drop off and pick up. The main entrances to the venue can be accessed by using the lift on Lower Parliament Street (located next to the taxi rank) or via Bolero Square situated just off Bellar Gate. Both entrances allow flat floor access and are equipped with automatic opening doors.

Accessible Parking

A public blue badge holder car park is located next to the Arena on Dean Street. This area is operated by Nottingham City Council on a first come first serve basis and can’t be booked in advance. There are also blue badge holder parking spaces on Barker Gate opposite the venue and on street parking on nearby streets.

Toilets and Changing Places Facility

Accessible toilet facilities and a dedicated Changing Places facility are within easy reach of the Spotlight Bar & Restaurant.

Located on level three of the venue and accessible via the lifts, the Changing Places facility includes a mobile height adjustable changing bench, a ceiling track hoist system to lift people between wheelchairs and the toilet/changing bench and enough space to ensure the bench and toilet can be approached from either side.
